Revival Carriers' Training, February 3-22, 2009

In February 2009, WTM missionaries attended the Revival Carriers' Training. The objectives of this training were:
• to seek the Lord in prayer and fasting;
• to train the missionaries on how to open up mission territories for revival to take place;
• to ensure continuity of the Set Apart walk through accountability groups; and
• to provide hands-on experience in leading prayer (Morning Prayer altar), in missions and evangelization, and in other areas necessary to do the work.
This training allowed a regrouping and re-envisioning of the Ugandan missionaries. It also redefined the requirements and necessity of the Set Apart walk. All who participated felt the training was very beneficial.
Evangelism Training, February23-27, 2009
The objectives of the Evangelism Training held in February 2009 were:
• to regain a passion for evangelism, and
• to receive practical hands-on training in the surrounding areas of the WTM Kampala Offices.

Missionaries who participated were excited by this practical training and came back with very encouraging testimonies as well as a better understanding of the strongholds and witchcraft in the area surrounding the WTM Kampala Offices. The information and experience that was gathered has been useful during the watches at the prayer altar for the Ministry/Trumpet Center Church.
Kanganda Mission, May 2009
As part of the follow-up of the Evangelism Training, 20 people were sent to Kanganda (Pastor John's country home) for 3 weeks to do evangelistic work in the area. As a result, 105 s
ouls were harvested. Kanganda Community Church and many other church projects were officially launched on May 10, 2009, by Pastor John.

District Mission to Bududa (March 2009) and Prayer & Intercessors' Mini-Camp to Kiboga (April 2009)
Both of these conferences were well attended. It appears that the message of rebuilding the prayer altars across the entire land and the cry for revival in the land continue to be a crucial issues in the nation.
Mini-Camp Meetings
Eastern Uganda - Soroti; May 10-16, 2009. The Teso Prayer Mini-Camp is a well-organized and -coordinated camp that has been running since its birth at AfriCamp'02. It is organized by a united team of Teso Intercessors, mainly from the Anglican Churches in Soroti District, together with some pastors and church leaders from other Pentecostal and Baptist denominations. This meeting was attended by over 2,000 participants from Teso region and Lango sub-region.

The team has been involved in mobilizing mission activities into homes, churches, and communities; setting up prayer altars; and teaching people about prayer and deliverance. As prayer has deepened and spread, many people in the area who had been captivated by the devil to the extent of walking naked, eating grass, and madness, and others bound in witchcraft, had received deliverance, been healed, seen family strongholds broken, and been set free; some of these people now serve on the deliverance and intercession teams.
Camp participants held an astronomical prayer walk around Soroti town, which left the town impacted. Over 15 people gave their lives to Christ. In addition, over 10 goats and turkeys were brought by people who had been delivered as a thanksgiving offering to the Lord.

Northern Uganda - Lira; May 11-15, 2009. The objective of the mini-camp meeting in Lira was to bring the entire region before God in prayer for transforming revival. Pastor John Mulinde was the guest speaker, along with several others from the WTM team. The turn-up was good, considering that this was the first camp meeting in the area.
A meeting was held with civic, politi
cal, cultural, and spiritual leaders, and leaders from the various districts. May shared that this was the first time the leaders in the area had exhibited such a level of unity.
Prayer Requests:
• A lack of sufficient funds is the major hindrance to the fulfillment of WTM work in Uganda (many missions have been cancelled as a result). Please pray for God's provision so his work can be completed in this nation.
• Pray that God will bring more laborers in His field.
• Pray that God will bring the finances and other resources for the establishment of a training center in the Northern Region.
• Pray that God will break the woundedness of the people and other effects of more than 20 years of war.
